Aphotic Audio is an independent record label, based in Sydney, Australia. Aphotic Audio primarily covers the collaborated audio work of Aaron Potter and Daniel Brunet and includes original and remixed productions from other linked artists since early 2003.

Our most accomplished of productions is the Electronic-Industrial band Empty, with their most recent release Aeon Xpand.

Released: Empty - Never Get To You

After some delay, we are proud to announce the launch of Empty's latest release: "Never Get To You". We are now taking orders through the Aphotic Audio Online Store.

Never Get To You sculpts the beginning of a new era for Empty, highlighting new sounds from the upcoming album through the fusion of Electronic-Industrial with elements of Glitch and pulsing electronics overlaid with vast, sweeping soundscapes.

Featuring two new tracks, plus a cover of the cult classic "King of Kings" by The Models alongside remixes by Dismantled, ANGELTHEORY, Pask and iammynewt.

Empty featured on Australian industrial compilation: DEMUS

Live Empty Shows

Empty will be playing in Sydney this Saturday (March 29th) at the launch of Shallow Nation, playing some new tracks and some reworked versions of the old tracks. The club will bring new Electronic-Industrial and EBM music to the local Sydney gothic scene, lead by DJ Requiem.

DOPAMIN3 USB Compilation

Empty have recently had the opportunity to be part of a new compilation release by one of Germany's most hyped up, underground industrial/EBM labels known as CODELINE RECORDS. Codeline are one of the first record labels in Europe to release a compilation album in the form of a USB drive full of MP3 tracks. They have also developed a great new watermarking technology which helps to reduce piracy of MP3 files and are very interested in Empty's music!
